Artist: Jenni Eden

Jenni Eden's colourful and striking paintings of dancers show how she feels about painting, about following her dreams and her passions. Jenni believes her paintings inspire others to follow their dreams too, 'whatever it is that makes your soul sing you can do!'

Jenni has a very strong belief in God, which she thinks is paramount for the success of her paintings. She beleives that God was waiting for her, yearning for her to ask for help and make that vital step. Jenni is now certain that all anyone has to do is reach out and ask for that help.

Jenni warns that it is not an easy task but the rewards are unbelievable. As her stunning and vibrant paintings show. Jenni feels compelled to paint all the time, in particular to paint dancers as painting their movements helps to express her emotions. Dancers as a subject matter have enabled Jenni to explore and experiment with both emotions and colour, to produce vibrant and bold images.

Jenni believes her paintings are proof of how energetic and uplifting a relationship with God can be and asks 'Isn’t it time we saw that, rather than just reflecting on the wars, torment and torture that various religions are blamed for?'
